Our work continues after the translation. The result must correspond to the initial document or must fit into the appropriate graphic form. Often, images and charts are also part of the translation, which the graphic designer must edit and modify. We can take care of all this and save you a lot of time, money and worries. We use technology and modern software, thanks to which we can modify and edit virtually all possible formats. For larger projects, we work with CAT tools that help with translation and facilitate the entire prepress.
You can also request the work of our graphic designers separately without ordering the translation itself. We can create editable versions of documents, even if you only deliver them to us in PDF format or even on paper.
Desktop Publishing, or DTP, refers to creating printed documents with the help of a computer. It is mainly graphic editing and data processing before printing or publication.
Textemo is powered by real people but runs on a web application that makes the ordering process as easy, fast and automated as possible. Thanks to our system, the standard order in the web application is entirely self-service. If you place an order on our website, you know the price and estimated delivery time in advance. Work on the translation begins immediately after payment when new translation notifications are sent continuously to the system’s translators.
Unless we agree in advance, the translator is assigned to the order as follows: At the moment of paying for the order, Textemo translators are being notified (by email or SMS message – according to their preferences). Notifications do not go to all translators of a particular language simultaneously but are sent based on an algorithm. It takes into account their history – it assesses, for example, previous customer satisfaction, speed or reliability of submission in a pre-estimated time, as well as the evaluation of the entry test. Thus, each translator has his evaluation, which decides when he will be notified of the system’s order. Furthermore, it is only up to those who react first and show interest in the contract. If necessary, we can assign specific translators to expertise translations directly in the self-service system. However, most expertise translations’ requests are still sent by e-mail or phones, where we can arrange all the necessary details with the client. Then we choose the translators ourselves.
Of course. There are two ways how we evaluate translators. a) Entry test We selected each candidate by language entry tests passed only by experienced translators. Even so, at least the first translations of a successful translator go under the analysis of a senior translator or proofreader, who oversees their quality before handing them over to the client. The beginning of this form of cooperation is wholly suspended, at least for the time being, due to translators’ capacity being maxed out. b) Curriculum Vitae We are starting working with the translator based on his/her experience and focus, which he/she submits in his CV. We thoroughly check and assess information about the translator, taking into account many criteria – we consider everything from education, translation tools or technical equipment used to the subsequent level of communication and response speed.
Please do not order translations of these documents through the system, but arrange them directly with us. We have a confidentiality agreement with many translators, ensuring the protection of classified information and ensuring security against its misuse. Thus, no one without the confidentiality agreement will see your documents. However, we do not have this contract with every translator in the system! Therefore, we will select the translators ourselves, with the prior conclusion of this contract being the main criterion.
Although we have already gained valuable references and experience in the past, Textemo is still new to the translation market. The prices must therefore correspond to this. Nobody wants expensive translations. Also, due to the partially automatic way the project works, we could minimize unnecessary costs thanks to the Self-Service system. Last but not least, we also work with a low margin.
We do not compete with price but with services and quality. We know that with today’s possibilities offered by the Internet, it is easy to find cheaper translators. However, individual translators do not provide the same level of services (graphic design artwork, proofreading, translation into several languages simultaneously,…) as agencies. Good translation requires maximum care, a certain amount of time and proper compensation. Our prices are entirely justified, and they are still able to compete with professional freelancers who sell themselves through their websites.
No, the delivery time of the translation that you see when ordering is only an estimation. In the vast majority of cases, however, we send it in the estimated time. If you want real certainty about the delivery time, contact us directly.
Because you will receive your translation quickly, in excellent quality and at a fair price. Ordering is easy, convenient and very fast in time without any unnecessary bureaucracy.
